August 24, 2011 all day
As Glenn Beck told the Jerusalem Post, “[Christian Israel supporters] see tragedy coming down the pike unless we take a stand...Many of us were asleep for a long time. There are Americans who still say it will never happen, and everything will work out because we are America. But I know Americans outside of Washington who know that’s not necessarily true – not unless you change that behavior. We are waking up to what could be on the horizon: and what could be on the horizon is the…See More

Wilson NC Tea Party Meeting Now Being Held at Carolina Cheese Co.- Next to Starbuck's

Posted on August 4, 2010 at 4:30pm 1 Comment

Growing Pains is a good problem to have. We have outgrown AmyJo's and we need more room. Tonia Miller, owner of Carolina Cheese Co, has graciously offered her restaurant for our meeting on Saturday mornings at 8:00. The restaurant doesn't open until 9:00, so we will have the entire dining room for our group while they are preparing. If you don't remember Tonia, she spoke briefly at our April Tea Party. We will be able to conduct our meeting undisturbed. Yeah!!

Sorry I did not get your message until I got home to check my e-mail. I am like so many Americans. I got involved a couple of years ago because I was alarmed out of my ignorance of what was happening to our country. I got involved with the protests in Washington, DC over health care and have evolved from there. I wish I could afford to go to the Summit again this weekend. There was so much to learn. It was great. Be sure someone goes to the Tea Party Legalities session. It was eye-opening. I am a founder with the Tar River Tea Party but they are only interested in local issues and see no urgency about November or getting people informed and excited about taking our country back. What I got from the Summit that was uttermost in importance, was that if you are not a PAC and cannot help get candidates elected this fall, you are mainly just a social group and will have little impact. Please let me know what you find out. There was so much information, but it was SO IMPORTANT. I would love to get involved with your group and get to work. I was very impressed with your Tea Party Rally last month. I think your group in on the right track but we are all so far behind the other side, it is scary (You will find that out-especially Social Networking). my e-mail ltyson1@suddenlink.net cell phone 252-883-7109 Please keep in touch. If nothing else, I plan to get to work for Buck Newton and other candidates to do whatever I can. Good luck this weekend. You will be exhausted but empowered.

Bobby, thanks, and I intend on being active. There are several national issues that I feel very strongly about that are being mishandled along with the abuse of the U.S. Constitution. This mess of the Constitution being a "living, breathing document" as some liberals would like to claim is hogwash. This document, just like the Bible, is absolute and has laid down rules and guidelines for all generations of Americans to adhere to. Yet, many of our national representatives trample all over it or inappropriately use certain exceptions to policy to further their agendas, rather than for the real purposes for which those exceptions were originally created. But again, thanks for the welcome.

Thanks, Bobby. Just checking y'all out. And thanks for the pocket Constitutions...they are very nice to have and our kids can definitely use them.
